Job Description
Key responsibilities of a manufacturing operations manager:
Strong knowledge in to CNC Lean Manufacturing Six sigma.
- Production Planning and Scheduling:Develop and execute production plans including scheduling to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
- Inventory Management:Monitor and control raw material and finished goods inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts.
- Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Cost Management:Analyze production costs identify areas for improvement and implement costsaving measures.
- Performance Monitoring:Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate production efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Employee Supervision:Lead and manage production teams including assigning tasks providing training and addressing performance issues.
- Maintenance Oversight:Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Safety Compliance:Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols within the manufacturing facility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering operations management or a related field
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations management
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling tools
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial management and budgeting skills
