Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:40 AM 5:15 PM
Pay Rate: $48/hr on W2
Job Description:
Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team for a 13week contract. In this role you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile instruments and supplies ensuring a safe and sterile environment. You will also assist with patient positioning and provide support throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields during surgeries
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams with the setup of necessary instruments and equipment
- Sterilize and ensure proper handling of surgical tools
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery
- Monitor surgical instruments and supplies during procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth workflow and safe environment
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and supplies
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
- Experience in a surgical setting
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain focus in fastpaced environments
