Position : General Accountant / AP/AR Specialist
Working Schedule : 8a5p CST
Salary Range : $1700$2200 (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detailoriented and organized General Accountant / Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to manage invoicing payments and financial transactions. This role ensures accurate recordkeeping timely processing of payments and effective communication with vendors and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
- Verify and reconcile invoices purchase orders and payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Prepare reports and assist with monthend closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors/customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in accounting bookkeeping or related field
- Strong understanding of general bookkeeping depreciation models reconciliation and accounting principles.
- Experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SAP Business One
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic financial principles.
- Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting.
