Job Description
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
- Fill stores requisitions as requested by FTP plants 1 & 2 and deliver materials to said plants.
- Unload trucks as needed.
- Maintain warehouse and warehouse equipment in a clean and orderly manner according to USDA and BRC standards.
- Communicate and problem solve with and through production supervisors forepersons Central Supply Purchasing & Scheduling.
- Maintain records of materials received and issued and maintain truck inspection logs.
- Receive proper documents from outside vendors and submit through proper channels.
- Communicate any shortages of materials to immediate supervisor.
- Receive materials into MII and SAP computer system.
- Stage issue point with materials for all production shifts.
- Assist in the unloading and loading of equipment.
Qualifications :
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to organize and work independently.
- Good communication/interpersonal skills (which includes ability to read and write in English).
- Mathematical aptitude to maintain control of inventories.
- Must possess a valid CA drivers license with a good safety record.
- Forklift Safety License required.
- Must be able to lift 5070 lbs.
