We are looking for a meticulous thorough and organized Construction Project Manager to join our Client in the Department of Transportation division. The primary responsibilities of the role will be project management functions research products report preparation forecast monitoring overseeing communications with clients and conducting risk assessments.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum education level of a bachelors degree in construction management civil engineering or a related field
- The ideal candidate will have at least 35 years of experience in bridge and road construction project management principles.
- Understanding of construction methods materials and costs
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans blueprints and specifications.
- Ability to budget schedule negotiate and control costs.
- A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents terms and conditions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with SelfPerforming or Specialty Contractor
- Experience in sales/marketing a plus.
- Strong leadership and management skills
Technology:
- Proficient with Microsoft Software Word Excel PowerPoint
- Proficient in project management software (Procore Bluebeam)
