About the Job:
Our client is Our client is one of Nigerias leading private construction groups with a rich history of delivering highquality construction projects across the country. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager to lead and oversee multiple building projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in civil engineering exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage complex construction projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage multiple building project sites overseeing all phases from inception to completion.
- Planning & Coordination: Develop and monitor project plans allocate resources effectively and ensure milestones are met.
- Team Management: Coordinate with site teams subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve challenges and ensure smooth operations.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure they adhere to safety protocols regulatory requirements and client specifications.
- Budget & Timeline Management: Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and timelines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Performance Optimization: Drive efficiency across sites identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress challenges and resolutions to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory) Masters degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Civil Engineer with a proven track record of managing building projects.
- Relevant training certificates in project management or construction are an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and decisionmaking abilities.
- Excellent project planning and resource management skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and problemsolving skills.
- Indepth knowledge of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
