Plumbing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design plumbing systems (calculations layouts sizing equipment selections specification coordination)
  
• Prepare fire protection scope design specification and layout
  
• Perform a variety of duties:
  

• Use AutoCAD and Revit for drawing development
  
• Perform code reviews
  
• Shop drawings/submittal review and processing
  
• Quantity takeoffs/cost estimates
  
• Project management duties
  

• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Coordinate a project from start to finish with both contractors and clients
  

Requirements:

• Master or Journey Plumber License
  
• PE License
  
• 5 years of commercial plumbing design experience as an engineering MEP consultant
  
• Experience with architectural projects (schools municipal buildings health care facilities commercial buildings)
  
• Revit/AutoCAD experience preferred
  
• Project management experience preferred
