Job Description

The Business Development Manager for the Greater China market which includes Mainland China Taiwan and Hong Kong will be based in Phuket Thailand. This role is responsible for improving and growing our business by establishing and developing relationships with customers suppliers and other partners. In addition the role involves promoting and supporting inbound and outbound calling activities for Preview Channel campaigns at the Call Centre. Reporting to the Group Director of Marketing Strategy and Thailand Operations the Business Development Manager will drive maximum return from partnership campaigns and coordinate activities among multiple internal and external teams. The individual should possess the following skills:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Management Skills:
  • Acquire and develop new partners and manage existing partnerships.
  • Deliver a superior B2B relationship experience with a longterm strategic focus.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds and educational levels.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analysis data analysis to

Organizational Skills:

  • Manage multiple clients onsite and offsite meetings and deadlines.
  • Keep client proposals and tasks on track by demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Time Management Skills:
    • Prioritize tasks and manage a calendar effectively.
    • Adjust schedules as needed to meet objectives.
    • Technical and Computer Skills:
    • Utilize Sales Force (SF) to track leads client calls and sales cycle progress.
    • Possess basic technical and computer skills.

    • Be goaloriented and commissiondriven striving for personal success.

Qualifications :

Additional Qualifications:

  • Develop and maintain a preferred network of Strategic Partnerships/Relationship Management in Greater China markets.
  • Create detailed marketing plans and campaign calendars for preview channel activities and ensure their successful execution.
  • Uphold brand guidelines for approvals and compliance on all marketing materials.
  • Increase brand awareness and maintain a positive digital media presence on potential partner platforms.
  • Coordinate with the internal Marketing Communications department for project execution and the development of highquality collateral.
  • Assist the Senior Director in developing budgeting P&L goals and company financial objectives.
  • Maintain reports of all marketing business data points relevant to the roles scope.

General Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Marketing Alliance or Business Development roles with a focus on developing new relationships and acquisitions.
  • Cultural sensitivity to regional differences in business development within Greater China.
  • Language requirements: Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
