We are currently seeking an adaptable successful and experienced Business Development Manager for one of our Partner Success Teams in Shenzhen China. In this role you will:
Identify new opportunities with the largest most strategic merchants providing them with the resources needed to achieve their growth objectives thereby helping Klarna become everyones favorite way to shop.
Build and execute jointly agreedupon business plans with partners or merchants to drive mutual growth and success.
Work closely with internal analysts delivery and marketing teams at Klarna to drive enablement and lead generation activities.
Identify new partnerships or business opportunities pitch Klarnas services and close deals.
Build strong relationships both at the executive level and on an individual basis.
Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships including Csuite executives.
Conduct extensive market research to position Klarna optimally in the market.
Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships.
Deliver enhancements to existing brands and identify areas for improvement with key strategic partners.
Identify and execute strategies to win new business within China.
Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity.
Play an important role in driving Klarnas growth in China and beyond.
Who You Are
Based in Shenzhen
Fluent in English at a full professional proficiency level
35 years of experience in Business Development Account Management or Sales
Experience in retail payments and/or ecommerce
Demonstrates a strong passion for learning about and engaging with new cultures
Highly driven with the desire to build a business from the ground up
Excellent communication and organizational skills
