Job Title: Sr Project Manager 2 (ONSITE)
Location: Richmond VA

Job Description:
The Client is looking for a Project Manager with 10 years of experience implementing IT projects. The project manager is responsible for managing the project scope schedule budget other project management artifacts and reporting to VSP HR management. The project manager will assist the client HR Division staff in responding to external agency partners and vendors coordinating tasks assigned to VSP and ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and meet key deadlines. PMP Certification is desired. Experience with human resource management systems is a plus. Process optimization awareness of best practices and change management experience is highly preferred. Must possess strong oral/written communication problem solving and organizational skills. Should have the ability to manage shifting priorities.
Education Experience Licensure Certification:
- Ability to successfully interact in a team environment and effectively communicate both orally and in writing across all levels of an organization.
- Considerable experience in software project management and graduation from an accredited college or university with major study in Computer Science Information Systems or related field. Combination of education experience and training demonstrating the required knowledge skills and abilities is acceptable.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project documentation required by Procurement and client.
- Track and report on the progress and outcomes of major active projects.
- Develop and maintain projects schedules and budgets.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with project team and vendors through timely accurate and effective communication.
