Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

We are seeking highly motivated university students in their last year of study (graduating May/June 2026) to learn and contribute handson while working with our IT SOX Compliance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in IT governance risk management and compliance within a dynamic business environment.

Interns will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in the evaluation and documentation of IT controls in alignment with SOX (SarbanesOxley) compliance requirements.
  • Perform control testing analyze results and assist in preparing reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT and Finance to identify and remediate control gaps.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in projects to enhance IT compliance processes including leveraging new tools and technologies.

Qualifications :

Required:

  • Longterm interest in a career in IT Compliance Audit or Risk Management with current participation in an IT Information Systems or related university curriculum.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new compliance and IT governance tools.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT NIST or ISO 27001 is a plus.

Skills:

  • Attention to detail: You thrive in reviewing complex processes identifying inconsistencies and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collaborative mindset: You enjoy working in a teamoriented environment building strong relationships and communicating effectively.
  • Adaptability: You are a selfstarter who can navigate through ambiguity and adjust to changes with ease.
  • Technical aptitude: You embrace technology seek innovative solutions and are eager to apply your technical skills to compliance initiatives.
  • Project management: You can manage and complete projects and assignments effectively within designated timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
