Job Description
Everest Systems is a startup company founded in 2020. Its focus is on developing business software for small and mediumsized companies. The company is financially backed by a wellknown investor its founders are very experienced software and product architects from the industry. The company is located in Palo Alto USA and Heidelberg Germany.
Currently we are about 125 employees worldwide and we are hiring.
Tasks
- Develop and test threat detection patterns for application infrastructure.
- Log analysis and monitoring.
- Security analysis of application and infrastructure based on K8S and AWS.
- Cyber threat hunting and forensics.
Requirements
- Understanding of and experience with computing/cloud infrastructures servers network technologies (e.g. AWS K8S).
- Interest in and understanding of security concept technologies and attack techniques.
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
- Solid foundation in software technology data structures and algorithms.
- Must be enrolled at a German University in Computer Science or any related field.
- Students who already have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields are preferred.
- Solid foundation in software technology data structures and algorithms.
- Fluent in English or German.
