Job Description

Project Coordinator

Location: Trichy

Experience: 5 7 years

Industry: Construction / Civil Engineering

Employment Type: Fulltime

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Project Coordinator to oversee and manage civil engineering projects including highrise buildings and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth project execution compliance with regulations and effective coordination among stakeholders while adhering to project schedules and budgets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning execution and completion of construction projects from inception to delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets ensuring adherence to both.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to prevent delays.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes regulations and permit requirements.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication among contractors engineers architects and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
  • Manage procurement of materials equipment and resources in a costeffective manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports change orders and risk assessments.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Support the project management team in administrative and operational tasks as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 7 years in construction management or site engineering particularly in highrise buildings and commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in construction/project management software (e.g. AutoCAD Primavera P6 MS Project).
  • Excellent organizational timemanagement and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP / PRINCE2) or Construction Safety is a plus.
  • Experience in procurement and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with contract administration and cost estimation.
