Roles and responsibilities
As a Culture & Communication Officer at ABYAT, our primary responsibility is to cultivate a positive and inclusive organizational culture while effectively communicating ABYAT'S values, goals, and initiatives both internally and externally. You will play a crucial role in fostering a cohesive and engaged workforce, promoting transparency, and enhancing the company's reputation through strategic communication efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance internal and external communication channels.
- Events planning & implementation to enhance work culture.
- Create and distribute memos and announcements to ensure timely and accurate information sharing within the organisation.
- Develop and maintain external communication channels, including social media platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn, to promote the organisation's brand.
- Write and edit newsletters, articles, and other communication materials to convey key messages and information to stakeholders.
- Foster a positive company culture by developing and implementing initiatives that promote employee engagement, collaboration, and a sense of belonging.
- Utilize AI and design tools to enhance communication strategies, such as creating visually appealing content and implementing automation processes.
- Monitor and analyze communication initiatives' effectiveness using metrics and feedback to continuously improve communication strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in communication, culture, and technology to incorporate innovative approaches into the role
Desired candidate profile
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in utilizing various communication channels and platforms, including social media (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn), internal communication tools, and newsletters.
- Familiarity with AI and design tools to enhance communication strategies and create visually appealing content.
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing communication initiatives and engaging content.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in communication, culture, and technology.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
