Work Readiness Cohort 1 - Western Cape

Work readiness is the combination of skills knowledge and behaviors that allow someone to perform well in a job. It also includes the ability to adapt to new situations and contribute to the goals of an organization.

What does work readiness include

• Problemsolving skills: The ability to identify and resolve issues
• Adaptability: The ability to adjust to new situations
• Time management skills: The ability to manage projects and time effectively
• Critical thinking skills: The ability to think logically and make sound decisions
• Teamwork skills: The ability to collaborate with others
• Professionalism: The ability to act in a way that is appropriate for a professional setting
• Technical skills: The skills required to perform a specific job
• Soft skills: The interpersonal skills that help employees interact with coworkers and managers
• Communication skills: The ability to convey messages to others such as in emails reports and documents.

Skills :

Candidates will need to attend classes every day from 9:00 am 16:00 pm.

They will be learning more about what is expected of them in the world of work.

They must be presentable and show eagerness on wanting to be part of the programme.

They will be engaging in different activites and doing our modules on different topics.
