Job Description
ENGINEERING SPECIALIST HEALTH SAFETY & MAINTENANCE!
At Colective Hospitality we are looking for a skilled Engineering Specialist Health Safety & Maintenance to join our hotel team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation safety and maintenance of our facilities while ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations.
What will you do
Develop implement and monitor health and safety programs to ensure compliance with local laws.
Conduct regular safety inspections risk assessments and audits across the property.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel systems (HVAC electrical plumbing mechanical).
Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure timely repairs.
Manage energy consumption and environmental practices for optimal efficiency.
Lead emergency response efforts ensuring that safety equipment is regularly inspected and operational.
What were looking for:
Bachelors degree or technical certification in Engineering Occupational Safety Facilities Management or a related field.
35 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Handson experience with maintenance systems (HVAC electrical plumbing etc.).
Exceptional problemsolving organizational and leadership skills.
Proficiency in maintenance management software.
Health & Safety certifications (e.g. OSHA NEBOSH) are a plus.
