Job Description
Finance Analyst supports financial planning and analysis processes and requirements across businesses supported such as: sales analysis expense management profitability analysis and others. The Finance Analyst interacts with all AA business areas.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with the month end close and financial reporting activities including monthly business/budget reviews LBEs and preparation of related review packages with variance analysis/commentary on expenses headcount and capital.
- Assists with variance analysis and commentary for planning cycles and management reporting under direct guidance of Manager.
- Monthly meetings with business owners to review actuals and forecast expenses. Partners with business and proposes solutions to achieve budget within guidelines and to operate within approved budget.
- Supports Accounting Shared Service monthly close and financial reporting processes by reviewing results for completeness and providing variance commentary which may include P&L headcount and balance sheet components.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive and related experience.
- Strong financial analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of management and including the ability to listen well and to influence others that do not report directly.
- Proficient Excel skills.
- Knowledge of SAP.
