Work youll do

As a Facilities Coordinator you play a critical role in maintaining our offices and workspace to ensure facility and security related matters (e.g. regular and oneoff repair and maintenance administration of office security system cleaning management customer requests related to facility) are supported with the overall goal: to ensure a wellmaintained and professional working environment for our internal customers and guests.

As a Facilities Coordinator at Deloitte your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting facilities management activities under the direction of management including: management of vendors/service contracts; regular and oneoff repair and maintenance; space planning; administration of office security system and life safety program; cleaning management customer requests related to facility (e.g. hot/cold broken chair/office furniture)
  • Serving as primary customer support assisting or facilitating requests which may include: housekeeping issues office/AV equipment maintenance internal moves light replacement etc.
  • Ensuring a wellmaintained facility by proactively reviewing office space for general repair and maintenance needs (wear and tear g. carpet cleaning lighting repairs painting) partnering with team members and vendors to address issues
  • Supporting project and reporting activities including: management of internal moves and other space planning changes; capital improvement projects; maintenance of tracking and reporting tools (e.g. updating floorplans); and supporting national data collection activities (e.g. carbon use reporting for office)
  • Managing and fostering relationships with customers team vendors and other key stakeholders (e.g. property management) through effective communications collaboration and engagement with purpose to deliver a best in class experience

The team

At Deloitte the internal operations team (known as the One Team) provides a fullrange of hospitality and business services. We help our Deloitte professionals with daily office support needs meeting and event planning and execution and an array of other services related to office operations and facility management. Our team members work collaboratively and apply their specialized knowledge and skills to think proactively to provide a holistic customercentric experience for our Deloitte professionals clients and guests.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a similar role in facility management and within a corporate customercentric environment
  • High school diploma
  • Strong technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work occasional overtime
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

An Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent critical thinking decisionmaking and conflict resolution skills
  • Effective problemsolving and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $52600 to $87600
