We are looking for a motivated and detailoriented DevOps Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in DevOps practices infrastructure management CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies. You will work closely with development QA and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of software solutions and the scalability of infrastructure.

Characteristics:

• As a DevOps Engineer on our team youll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production.
• The DevOps engineer is one with a strong affinity for (optimizing) CI/CD processes using proven infra and software technology.
• He/she is very keen on delivering high quality services to the other agile teams. Doing so by preventing impediments with a robust development platform and eliminating them as quickly as possible when they happen.
• The DevOps engineer has a strong inclination to automate everything thereby eliminating the impact of human error as much as possible.
• As a craftsman she or he is constantly aware of the importance of consistent quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining deployment pipelines for software delivery.
• Work closely with senior engineers to design and improve deployment workflows.
• Collaborate in setting up and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
• Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Help configure and maintain monitoring and logging tools.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving system issues to ensure uptime.
• Work with senior team members to deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Assist in managing Kubernetes clusters or equivalent orchestration tools.
• Collaborate with developers QA and other stakeholders to improve DevOps practices.
• Continuously learn new tools and methodologies under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Create and maintain simple scripts (Bash PS etc.) to automate routine tasks.
• Assist in enhancing automation for deployment testing and monitoring workflows
• Gather feedback from Development SupportOperations teams to incorporate the inputs back to automated code.

Qualifications :

Must have skills:

• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including CI and CD pipeline architecture and processes. 
• Relevant work experience as a DevOps engineer for Onpremises Cloud (AWS Azure) and Hybrid environments any of the above.
• Relevant work experience with implementing CI/CD in Azure DevOps Jenkins Bamboo or similar for Enterprise web / desktop software
• Relevant work experience with Application Monitoring tools such as DataDog Dynatrace DataDog Splunk newRelic and enable operations and engineering with data that reflects the products health in real time
• Relevant work experience with Building and Maintaining Dev Staging and Production environments
• Relevant work experience with orchestration tools such as Ansible Terraform and similar IaC technologies
• Relevant work experience with Git and other SCM tools
• Relevant work experience with Python PowerShell and/or any other scripting technologies automated software installs and upgrades
• Relevant work experience with Windows / Linux administration scripting

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS firewalls load balancing).

• Desired work experience with ASP.Net / C# / Java
• Desired work experience with Database technologies
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Docker Certified Associate or similar are a plus.
