Job Description
1. Job Purpose:
The Product Development Manager will be responsible for commercializing new products for The Pizza Company Thailand. Documenting & maintaining the new product library including product appearance operation procedure required equipment settings required small wares and new ingredients specification. Perform continuous product and technology improvement to achieve operational friendliness quicker service and quality consistency by benchmarking the industry and/or comparing with our competitors.
2. Main Responsibilities:
2.1 Commercialisation of NPD by providing Operation procedures Specification Chart Standard product quality and Ingredients specification.
2.2 Conduct new product testing to ensure food stay on top of Food Quality and Customer Satisfaction.
2.3 Seeking new technology for simplify operations and improved quality consistency.
2.4 Develop relationship with Suppliers R&D to cutting edge new technologies & transfer of knowledge through suppliers expertise.
2.5 Coordinate with Purchasing Department for new ingredients & small ware specification which relate to new product launch.
2.6 Coordinate with R&M Department for required equipment setting or new small ware specification which relate to new product launch.
2.7 Coordinate with Training Department for developing an appropriate manual & training which relate to new product launch
2.8 Provide initial COG of new product.
2.9 Provide new product information for Marketing & Agency
2.10 Seek and track for new ingredients or new idea in market place.
2.11 Survey and track Competitor activities and Products.
2.12 Cooperate with Marketing for customer survey and new product feedback.
2.13 Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
2.14 Provide and Maintain Recipe in Menu Link.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor Degree or above in Food technology Food Science Biotechnology AgroIndustry Marketing Culinary arts or related field
- At least 5 years experience in Food development Hotel Retail Marketing or Operations in Food service & Bakery would be advantage
- Innovative and able to apply to mass production.
- Food sensory and Cookery skills.
- Be selfmotivated a strong team player and enable to work under pressure
- Good command of English and computer literacy
