Job Title: Senior Information Technology Architect
Location: Baltimore MD
Duration: 5 Years
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Technology Architect to lead the planning design and implementation of complex IT systems. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in system architecture data management and enterpriselevel modeling coupled with expertise in guiding transitions from legacy systems to modern scalable solutions.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in planning designing building and implementing IT systems.
- At least 5 years of experience must involve the direct supervision and management of major IT projects including:
- Leading professional support services.
- Integration implementation and transitioning of largescale complex systems and subsystems.
- Serving as a chief architect or lead in major IT implementation efforts.
- Demonstrates advanced understanding of IT environmental challenges and solutions.
- Recognized as an expert in the IT industry with proven capabilities in team leadership mentoring and excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in current principles and practices of architecture data management systems and large system design.
- Design and implement enterpriselevel solutions and information management architectures.
- Guide data modeling and organization strategies to support projects and streamline information architectures.
- Advise on best practices for data and process modeling.
- Lead transition planning from legacy to modern systems focusing on:
- Information flows.
- Data exchange and translation.
- Standardization of data services.
Experience and Certifications (Mandatory):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Information Technology Architect.
- Seniorlevel knowledge in enterprise modeling and tools (e.g. UML).
- Proven progression in responsibilities with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex IT solutions particularly within the Transportation Industry.
- PMP Certification.
- CMMI Practitioner Certification.
- 3 5 years of handson experience with:
- Microsoft Power Platform
- Azure Synapse Analytics Data Factory Data Lakes Data Bricks Dataverse
- ESRI
- Cloud Computing Technologies
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or a related field (Masters Degree preferred).
