Position: Senior Project Manager Expert
Location: Raleigh NC (27601)
Client: State of North Carolina
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple IT projects within a complex environment. The primary focus will be on the Roadway Lighting Control and Monitoring System Project. This role requires expertise in managing both inhouse and thirdparty developed solutions from concept through implementation and closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful endtoend project delivery managing all aspects including planning execution and reporting.
- Oversee project deliverables ensuring coordination and delegation of tasks across teams.
- Create and manage integrated project plans tracking risks issues and scope changes.
- Engage in negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Ensure effective management of scope budget resources quality and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in MS Project and MS Project Server with 7 years managing multimillion dollar projects.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong planning and management experience in budgeting quality assurance and resource allocation.
- Proven experience in project risk management and vendor management.
- Familiarity with government IT project management is a plus.
