JOB DESCRIPTION
DevOps Engineer
Responsible for managing and optimizing the infrastructure that powers way.com platform ensuring high availability security and scalability.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to automate processes streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment across various environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary goal is to Manage and Optimize the Infrastructure ensuring high availability and Collaborate with Crossfunctional teams.
The use of Cloud platforms such Digital Ocean AWS CI/CD Pipeline Jenkins Infrastructure as a Code Tools Terraform Ansible Container tools of Docker Kubernetes will be instrumental in achieving this objective.
PRIMARY SKILLS
Design implement and maintain scalable infrastructure using cloud platforms like Digital Ocean AWS or Azure.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and manage configuration management using infrastructureascode tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Build manage and optimize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using **Jenkins**.
Strong commitment to fostering and working within a DevOps culture emphasizing automation monitoring and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with development product and QA teams to enhance system performance deployment processes and incident response times.
Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus Grafana and Cloudspecific monitoring tools (e.g. AWS CloudWatch).
Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms (Docker Kubernetes) to ensure efficient application delivery.
Implement security best practices across infrastructure including patch management vulnerability scanning and access control.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to services.
SECONDARY SKILLS (IF ANY)
Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack Datadog or Splunk.
Knowledge of database management and performance tuning (MySQL PostgreSQL or NoSQL).
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet
