New opportunity for a Hygienist available at our friendly established orthodontic practice in Shirehampton close to the M5 J18.
Smile Solution in Shirehampton Bristol BS11 9TS has been serving the community for over 20 years with both NHS and privately for Orthodontic treatment. With a highly skilled and stable team consisting of 3 Orthodontists 2 Dentists (dedicated to extractions) 3 Orthodontic Therapists plus a trainee Receptionists Orthodontic Dental Nurses and an experienced Practice Manager.
We now have an opportunity for an experienced Hygienist to join the team on a 1 day per month basis the ideal role for those looking to add extra hours to their diary within a specialist practice environment playing a crucial role in providing topquality preventative dental care and gum disease treatment to our diverse patient base assisting patients in oral hygiene prior to commencing orthodontic treatment and supporting them while in treatment.
The opportunity
- 1 Friday per month
- Patients are direct access or in house referrals and will be patients entering into or going through either NHS or private orthodontic treatment
- A friendly and welcoming team who all enjoy working closely together to provide the best possible patient experience
- As the only Hygienist in clinic we are looking for someone who is experienced and autonomous who would embrace being part of a specialist orthodontic practice
- The practice is easily accessible from the M5 just off junction 18 with free parking available on local roads. Also accessible by bus and train
Requirements
Essential: For this role we require a GDC registered Hygienist with experience of direct access.
Desirable: If you have experience of working in a specialist practice with orthodontists previously and or have experience of building a Hygienist service within a practice please do highlight this within your application.
