Job Description
- Understand financial operations of the business and educate others inside and outside the Finance/Accounting group about the financial performance of their respective area
- Assist in the preparation of monthly close variance explanations; prepare Journal Entries general ledger analysis and other accounting related processes
- Manage monthly cost center reviews including presentation of financial results to senior management
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting expenses and financial results
- Participate in quarterly plant based financial reviews and CAPEX meetings
- Prepare Plant KPIs and participate in KPI reviews
- Manage Outside Grower process including creating related purchase orders preparing the daily packouts and payment calculations
- Analyze key business statistics trends and drivers including inventory variances bill of materials and standard costs
- Utilize Oracle financial system information to develop and communicate valueadded reporting tools
- Provide assistance to operational group with adhoc analytical projects
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 13 years of progressive experience in finance or a related filed
- Manufacturing or Agriculture industry preferred but not required
- Effective communications and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook Word & Excel)
- Oracle or similar ERP system experience highly preferred
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Ability to perform financial analysis including ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
- Must be able to multitask prioritize and work quickly/accurately under pressure
- Should be organized goal oriented energetic team player and responsive
- Flexibility to work weekends during season (OctDec)
Pay Range: $68000$75000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
