Job Description
Position: Sterile Processing Technician(SPT)
Start Date: 1/27/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Towson MD 21204
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Afternoons3:00 PM 11:00 PM 8
Shift Notes: 40 hours GTD
Weekend Requirements: Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
OnCall Requirements: On Call schedule is to be determined by the facility

OT starts after 48 hours
**Candidates may request the equivalent of 1 week of their contracted hours. For a candidate who is contracted for 36 hours a week; they may request 36 hours off. This can be done in up to a 7day time block (1 week) or a total of 36 hours if the dates requested off are separate. A candidate contracted for 40 hours/week would be able to request off 40 hours.
**Candidates will be considered for orientations scheduled up to 6 weeks out. RN and CNA orientations are held every other week on Tuesday and Wednesday
Under direct supervision cares for handles and stores instruments supplies and equipment necessary for surgery and processed goods for redistribution throughout the Medical Center. Assists Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties such as maintaining competencies.
Submission Requirements- 2 years recent SPT experience REQUIRED
- Must hold certification for at least 2 years to apply REQUIRED
