Job Description
In this role the main activities will be the following :
Motor SubSystem Development:
- Identify and implement innovative solutions for motor performance and features.
- Ensure compliance with tools like DFMEA CSRA
- Ensure that the 3D and 2D models are alligned with the techincal requirements specified by the client
Full Lifecycle Management:
- Manage portfolios of electric motors including component supply specifications design guidelines roadmaps IP databases and cost models.
Collaboration:
- Work with suppliers manufacturing and crossfunctional teams to analyze and implement technical solutions.
- Communicate effectively across regions and cultures in a matrix organization.
Qualifications :
To qualify for the role you should have the following set of skills :
- Experience and Expertise:
- Extensive experience in electrical engineering with a focus on DC motor design.
- Strong proficiency in 3D design and as a plus in motor testing operation and reliability analysis.
- Advanced Skills:
- Deep understanding of electronic power drivers for brushless motors and control techniques.
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 8D reports.
- Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and external partnerships.
- Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience as a Technical Project Leader
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards.
- Availability to relocate in Italy at the client offices / plant
