Job Description
Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Albany NY
Duration: Fulltime
Salary: DOE
We are seeking an experienced and hardworking Senior Electrical Engineer to lead organize manage and execute Electrical Engineering work within current project portfolio.
Responsibilities will include client relations project management internal team coordination contractor coordination engineering design and execution.
This is a sellerdoer position meaning you will have both client management and project design responsibilities.
Power distribution experience including medium voltage system design is a plus.
The project types you will be involved with include electrification battery electric vehicle charging systems transit facilities college and university facilities and commercial buildings. We have a diverse portfolio of exciting project types in various markets that provides stability and longevity in workload. This is a longterm career opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Proposal and fee development.
Portfolio and project management.
Engineering design and production.
Provide on the job training support to junior department members.
Certifying work.
Professionally sealing project work.
Qualifications:
15 plus years of Electrical Engineering experience from the consulting industry.
Firm understanding of industry standards regulations and codes.
Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited 4year institution is required.
PE license is preferred.
Proficient with the use AutoCAD and Revit.
Proficient in MS Office.
Capable of working independently; minimum supervision required.
