Job Description
Job Overview:
The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations ensuring the companys financial health and providing strategic financial guidance to support sustainable growth. This role involves managing financial planning analysis budgeting reporting and compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends variances and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare detailed financial forecasts and budgets in collaboration with department heads.
- Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Present financial reports to senior management providing insights and recommendations.
- Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
- Monitor and manage the companys cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Oversee investment activities and manage relationships with financial institutions.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws financial regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits as required.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support company initiatives and strategic projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; a Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA CFA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager or in a similar role within the manufacturing or specialty ingredients industry.
- Indepth knowledge of corporate finance accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.
