Quality Engineer
This role will not only ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained across all production processes but will also take a leadership role in coordinating and documenting the preparation and compliance for ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage ISO documentation including policies procedures and records.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with ISO standards leading internal audits and following up on corrective actions.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure all quality control processes align with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and operate effectively.
- Manage and oversee the calibration program to ensure measurement and testing equipment meet established precision standards.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions ensuring their effectiveness in addressing internal and customer quality issues.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement process changes monitor KPIs and achieve operational efficiency.
- Actively participate in FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) meetings and control plans to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Address customer complaints and lead efforts to investigate and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and problemsolving tools (e.g. 8D 5 Whys).
- Coordinate and follow up on internal audits to ensure quality control processes are effective and compliant.
- Generate detailed quality reports and track performance indicators identifying areas for improvement and communicating findings to senior management.
- Develop and maintain control plans to ensure products meet quality standards throughout their lifecycle.
- Provide training and mentoring to production teams quality inspectors and supervisors on quality standards inspection tools and process improvements.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Mechanical or related fields) or equivalent.
- Certification as an Internal Auditor (ISO 9001:2015) and certification in Basic Tools (e.g. FMEA SPC MSA APQP PPAP).
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Valid Visa and Passport.
- Handson experience with molding processes plastic composites painting and materials such as carbon fiber.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and the use of process control tools (e.g. Minitab SPC software).
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings GD&T and knowledge of various inspection methods.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and lead initiatives to improve quality and operational performance.
