Electrical Project Manager (EPM)
Sacramento CA
Salary: $120000 to $130000
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review all project documents including estimates design drawings specifications
and contracts.
Schedule and manage job startup meetings to ensure successful handoff to the
field.
Assist in the preparation of technical proposals including assisting in the design
and writing the scope of work management plans work sequence safety and
quality control and commissioning.
Manage projects through designated document management system
Process submittals scheduling material procurement with the purchasing dept.
scheduling manpower addressing RFIs generating and processing change orders if
needed and completing project closeout documentation.
Review all work orders; prepare and negotiate change orders
Actively maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and
quality of service.
Manage all job closeout procedures.
Ensures that all assigned work is completed on time and within budget.
Follows all CVE procedures for setting up and running projects.
Ensures all drawings and specs are available for field personnel and that they
accurately represent the work to be done before the project starts.
Ensure that all required materials are ordered in a timely fashion
Coordinate and track the need use and movement of shop equipment tools and
materials between jobs
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 58 years project management experience with a high quality commercial
electrical contractor.
Must possess the ability to work independently and interact closely with diverse
groups of people including company employees at all levels contractors owners
suppliers Subcontractors and other outside professionals.
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering;
however project management experience in the commercial electrical contracting
industry may substitute
