Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Qualifications: - Project Management Skills: Proven experience managing projects with implementations across large organizations including developing and managing project plans documenting risks issues and contingency plans and ensuring timely resolution of issues and removal of project barriers.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to research gather assemble and analyze data to devise solutions to complex problems. Capable of preparing concise reports and prioritizing information and issues effectively.
- Business Process Mapping & Problem Solving: Expertise in mapping business processes identifying areas for process improvement and facilitating group meetings and problemsolving activities to enhance business operations.
- SDLC Knowledge: Experience overseeing the development of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) artifacts ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into technical specifications and guiding the SDLC process from start to finish.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders. Must possess strong communication presentation and teamwork skills to ensure project success.
- Issue Resolution & Status Reporting: Ability to summarize and escalate issues effectively develop and present weekly status updates (both written and verbal) and conduct regular project team status meetings.
Preferred Qualifications: - Agile Methodology Experience: Experience implementing and using agile methodologies and best practices in the context of one or more State of Texas Agencies.
- Agile Project Management (Scrum): Strong experience in managing projects using agile methodologies particularly in featuredriven sprints.
- Agile Development Tracking: Experience overseeing and tracking development progress ensuring project assignments align with project timelines and deliverables.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification: PMP certification is a plus.
- Educational Background: Graduation from an accredited fouryear college or university.
Responsibilities: - Project Planning & Management: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for largescale organizational projects. Document risks issues and create contingency plans to ensure smooth project execution. Resolve project barriers and maintain project timelines.
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Establish strong working relationships with sponsors and stakeholders provide regular status updates and escalate issues as needed. Ensure consistent communication of project progress through written and verbal reports.
- Process Mapping & Improvement: Lead efforts in mapping business processes identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving initiatives to optimize efficiency. Facilitate meetings and group problemsolving sessions to address operational challenges.
- SDLC Oversight: Guide the SDLC process ensuring business requirements are translated into technical specifications. Oversee the development of SDLC artifacts and ensure the project adheres to the required timelines and technical standards.
- Agile Implementation & Monitoring: Implement agile methodologies including Scrum and track development progress. Ensure that project assignments are aligned with project timelines and ensure smooth delivery of agile sprints.
- Team Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve any issues or barriers that arise during the project lifecycle. Ensure that team members are aligned with project goals and timelines to drive successful project completion.
