NOTICE
Applications from the eligible candidates are invited for one position of Research Fellow @ Rs. 37000/ fixed 16% HRAp.m. in the scheme " Futuristic Farming: Demonstrating cuttingedge agritechniques for resource conservation” Misc.155 (PC5360) (Financed by Punjab and Sind Bank Government of India). The prescribed proforma obtainable from the office Room no. 112 of this department against the payment of Rs. 200/ in the shape of bank draft in favour of Comptroller PAU Ludhiana.
Essential Qualifications:
M.Sc. Agronomy/M.Sc. Soil Science/ M.Sc. Agricultural Meteorology with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks without NET may be recruited as Research Fellow @ Rs. 25000/ 16% HRA (FIXED) per month.
Note I: The candidates must have passed NET for recruitment @ Rs. 37000/16% HRA (Fixed) per month. However Ph.D. candidates are exempted from this condition.
Note II. The candidate who does not possess Master's degree in the relevant subject(s) i.e. Agronomy/Soil Science/Agricultural Meteorology but possesses Ph.D. degree in Agronomy/Soil Science/Agricultural Meteorology shall be eligible for the post. The candidates should ensure that they fulfil the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.
The fellowship is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
The last date for the receipt of applications duly complete in all respects in this office is 11.02.2025. The incomplete applications unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained.The candidates should appear before the selection committee for interview on 21.02.2025at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The Research Fellow resigning the Fellowship shall have to give one month notice or one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
