Vehicle Experimentation (and Application) Engineer
- Analyze and clarify the requirements specifications for EPS (Electric Power Steering) at the vehicle level.
- Conduct EPS function evaluations and tuning of EPS parameter utilize System HILs (HardwareintheLoop).
- Perform steering performance experiments and evaluations on actual vehicles as well as tuning of EPS constants.
- Create test reports and system release reports based on experimental and evaluation results.

- Possess basic knowledge of mechatronics (software/hardware and mechanical components).
- Ability to engage in technical discussions in both Japanese and English; native in Japanese and a TOEIC score of 650 or higher in English is preferred.
- Knowledge and interest in vehicle technology (steering systems < preferable skill).
- Skills to drive at a testing facility; a regular drivers license (MT) is preferred along with a record of obtaining a testing facility driving license.
- Experience in communication with overseas locations (no resistance to different cultures is preferred).
Note: The following two points are acceptable even as potential skills:
- Knowledge of measurement and calibration tools (such as Vector CANape ETAS INCA etc.).
- Experience in modelbased development (such as CarSim Simulink etc.).
