Polysomnographer

Polysomnographer candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
- The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is a health professional who demonstrates competency in all required therapeutic and diagnostic modalities provided in the Sleep Disorder Center and may be required to work variable shifts.
- The Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive adult and pediatric polysomnographic testing analysis patient care education and associated interventions including diagnostic and therapeutic services such as CPAP BiLevel ASV MSLT MWT HST and O2 titration under the general oversight of the Supervisor Manager Director or designee.
- A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist can also provide oversight and training of other staff.

Polysomnographer candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- California Polysom Technologist License upon hire
- National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire Or
- National Certified Polysomnographic Technician Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire
- National Provider BLS American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a basic training course in Polysomnographic skills by a school of sleep medicine.
- Completion of medical terminology course.
- 1 year experience in a Sleep Disorder Center.
- Background as a Sleep Technologist Respiratory Therapist or an EEG Technologist.
Compensation
Base Salary USD $76627 to $96200
