Job Description
Job Title: Project Management Consultant
Job Location: Juno Beach FL
Expected Contract Length/Duration: 12 months
Overview:
Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Project Management Consultant to join their Engineering & Construction (E&C) Business Unit in Juno Beach FL. This role involves managing multiple Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from preconstruction to the point of construction. If you have a knack for coordinating complex projects and ensuring all resources are aligned to meet project schedules this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external resources for project development engineering estimating supply chain scheduling and construction activities.
- Ensure all project variables are identified and incorporated including environmental regulatory cultural land acquisition and interconnection.
- Develop and optimize the projects technical scope to improve technical and financial feasibility.
- Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations.
- Coordinate engineering estimating and procurement requirements.
- Present and manage financial models through executive budget approvals.
- Source negotiate and execute commercial contracts for critical services.
- Regularly present project progress issues and risk mitigation to various levels of management.
- Ensure projects transitioning to the construction stage have an executable construction plan.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management or Finance/Accounting.
- 3 years of experience in related engineering and construction of renewable energy projects.
- Excellent project management communication financial analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Experience with electricity markets renewables and/or battery projects is a plus.
- PMP Certification and advanced Excel skills are preferred.
