The company is seeking a detailoriented Commercial Account Assistant to join their team. This role is 100% servicebased with no sales quotas or cold calling involved. It is a crucial position that supports the efficient operation of their insurance services team ensuring clients receive topnotch assistance and seamless communication.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with account managers to process claims policy changes cancellations payments renewals endorsements certificates of insurance and proposals.
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email to support a positive client experience by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate and complete client and policy records in the Agency Management System (Newton) while adhering to company protocols.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion complying with company policies and procedures.
- Process certificates and endorsements run audits and learn to remarket policies to carriers.
- Answer phones and assist with a variety of insurancerelated tasks.
- Train inoffice for the first 90 days with the potential for a hybrid schedule based on performance workspace suitability and ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license in Washington State.
- At least 2 years of experience in the insurance industry. Candidates with captive agency experience (e.g. Farmers State Farm Allstate American Family) are welcome but should be prepared for a servicefocused role that involves significant data entry phone work processing and policy remarketing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a variety of tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Must reside within 3 miles of the office location.
- Stable job history; no frequent job changes.
