Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customerfocused Food Service Assistant to join our team in Castletroy Limerick Ireland. As a vital member of our food service operations you will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our customers while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
- Assist in food preparation including washing cutting and portioning ingredients
- Serve meals and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment
- Restock serving lines condiment stations and dining areas as needed
- Assist with inventory management and storage of food items and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns
- Participate in cleaning and organizing kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with special events and catering services as required
Qualifications :
- Food handling experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and work schedules
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Physical stamina to stand walk and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced work environment
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
Additional Information :
(Full Time) 40hrs per week Monday to Friday
