Job Description
Job Title: RN Operating Room (OR) Charge
Location: Hauppauge New York
Schedule: MondayFriday 8hour shifts (no major holidays no oncall)
Salary Range: $91500 $110240 per year
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced OR Charge Nurse to lead and support our Surgical Services team in a collaborative patientcentered environment. This role involves providing leadership supervision and guidance to staff while also delivering direct individualized nursing care as needed. Our facility has four operating rooms and performs 250300 surgeries per month.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to the Surgical Services team.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Apply scientific nursing principles in direct patient care as needed.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Active New York State RN license.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience.
- 35 years of experience in Surgical Services (preferably in an outpatient surgery center).
