Job Description

1.Manage a (value stream based) team of Supplier Quality Engineers (PUQ Technical Specialists) in terms of capacity planning tasks qualification.

2.Planning and execution of supplier development activities for existing suppliers in collaboration with Material Group Purchasing and tracking effectiveness (e.g. Q method and 14Q training coaching process related capability studies).

3.Collaboration in SQP in PUE managed projects according to SQM processes support in supplier development of technical solutions (support of IC def. Lessons Learned SQP TSR GPc16 SafeLaunch actions other GPcs QBI...)

4.Technical/methodical support in claim management after escalation cascade against CN suppliers problem solving and troubleshooting to find fast solutions.

5.Support and monitor supplier change management through the team and personally

6.DC supplier qualification and enabling selection of suppliers for Q programmes (VDA6.3 P1 and OPL closed) and Q related release of new DC PKP suppliers.

7.Technical support to Chinese suppliers for DCs domestic and overseas plants (incl. commercial goods)

8.Define material group specific Q requirements and checklists (e.g. LLEMTSR MF benchmark level)

9.Monitor supplier performance

10.Maintain innovation and improvement

11.Team Building and Recruitment: Recruit hire and onboard qualified professionals to build a skilled and cohesive procurement team

12.Training and Development: Keep abreast of industry trends regulations and best practices to ensure the team remains competitive and capable.

13.Assigning Responsibilities: Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their expertise experience and workload capacity

14.Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and resolve disputes that arise within the team or between team members and other stakeholders. Encourage open communication and collaboration to foster a harmonious work environment.

15.Risk Management: Identify assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities such as supply chain disruptions price fluctuations and regulatory compliance issues. Develop contingency plans and proactive strategies to minimize potential risks.

16.Continuous Improvement: Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement team by seeking feedback implementing best practices and exploring opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.

Knowledge:

Skills:

1.Leadership and Management

2.Quality management:Have a strong understanding of quality management principles methodologies and tools such as Six Sigma VDA6.3Lean and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Be able to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.

3.Supplier management:Supplier audit and assessment

4.Problem solving skill:Have strong problemsolving skills to identify root causes of quality issues and develop effective corrective and preventive actions. Be able to use tools such as root cause analysis fishbone diagrams and 5 Whys to drive problem resolution

5.Analytical Skills: Be proficient in data analysis to identify trends patterns and areas for improvement in supplier quality performance. Be able to use data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

6.Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate quality requirements to suppliers convey feedback and expectations and resolve qualityrelated issues. Be able to communicate across different levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.

7.Negotiation Skills: Have strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers including pricing delivery schedules and quality requirements. Be able to balance the needs of the organization with the capabilities and constraints of suppliers

8.Continuous Improvement Mindset: Have a continuous improvement mindset and be committed to driving ongoing improvement in supplier quality performance. Be open to feedback willing to learn and proactive in seeking out opportunities for improvement.
