You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that product quality across all programs is consistent reliable and meets predefined standards. This role involves setting quality expectations monitoring supplier output and driving continuous improvement in both product and process quality.
Strategy
Quality Standards Development: Define and establish quality expectations and parameters for each product to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
Supplier Quality Monitoring: Monitor and assess the outgoing quality from suppliers ensuring products meet the established standards.
Proactive Root Cause Analysis: Conduct and implement proactive root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and solve quality issues.
Process & Product Optimization: Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to prevent failures and continuously enhance product quality.
Field Feedback Integration: Gather and integrate field quality reports using feedback to improve manufacturing processes and product performance.
Operations
Supplier Quality Control: Monitor and oversee the outgoing quality of suppliers ensuring adherence to company standards and immediate addressing of deviations.
Corrective Action Implementation: Develop and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues improving supplier and inhouse quality processes.
Failure Analysis: Analyze failures driving continuous improvement in materials and parts used in the manufacturing process.
Manufacturing Feedback Loop: Create and maintain a feedback loop with manufacturing teams to implement improvements based on quality reports and field data.
Continuous Improvement: Drive and ensure ongoing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of production lines.
Compliance
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards ensuring products meet industry and safety requirements.
Quality Audits: Conduct and enforce internal and external quality audits to verify adherence to established standards and procedures.
Supplier SLA: Enforce and ensure that suppliers meet service level agreements (SLAs) related to product quality and performance.
Process & Material Maintain uptodate documentation of quality processes and materials for consistency across programs.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks associated with product quality ensuring timely resolution to maintain product reliability.
Qualifications :
Quality Management Expertise: Proven experience managing quality assurance programs in a manufacturing or production environment.
Process & Product Optimization Skills: Skilled in analyzing and enhancing product and process quality.
Supplier Quality & RCA Expertise: Strong experience in managing supplier quality and conducting root cause analysis.
Continuous Improvement Leadership: Demonstrated success in driving continuous quality improvements.
Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry regulations and standards ensuring product and process compliance.
