Job Title: Project Planner
Reporting To: Director of Projects
Location: Aberdeen Hybrid3 day per week in the Office
Salary:Depending on Experience
The Project Planner will play a critical role in supporting Beams growth by ensuring our offshore projects are meticulously planned resourced and managed. This role involves developing project schedules coordinating with crossfunctional teams and ensuring project timelines align with our strategic goals.
You will develop an overarching Master Project Schedule that shows the impact of individual project level schedules task statusing. The Master Project Schedule will enable a view to key stakeholders of the impact on overall resource level planning (people and assets) and any knock on effect to key reporting and financial milestones.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in offshore energy or engineering project planning and thrive in a dynamic fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- To develop a professional and effective approach to operational Project planning with business and commercial awareness to maximise operational and commercial effectiveness of all Beam Projects
- The Planner will contribute across all phases of a Beam Project:
- Tender/ Feasibility and Award Validation phase
- Build maintain review and monitor project programmes
- Identify planning scope constraints and contract requirements
- Identify resourcing requirements with the Operations team
- Create review and maintain Project Programmes in line with industry standards
- Reconcile Beam and subcontractor plant labour & material requirements
- Support Project manager(s) offering technical knowledge on how to develop and implement an effective Project plan
- Design Engineering and Procurement phase
- Monitor and manage progress of Project team against programme
- Review record keeping administration budgets and time
- Work proactively with Project team manager and team to ensure projects are on track
- Produce relevant reports for the Project Manager
- Prepare presentations and data analysis working with Project Managers and subject matter experts as required
- Proactive approach to liaison across the operation and with clients/suppliers
- Point of contact for Planning issues
- Able to influence impact of planning through effective working relationships
- Embrace latest methodology and challenge status quo

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling preferably within offshore energy or engineering sectors.
- Working knowledge of Operational planning processes practices and systems and the ability to drive their implementation
- Experience in effective multitasking and project management skills
- Strong Interpersonal collaboration and communication skills and be able to build relationships
- Proactive Problem solving
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and business acumen with the ability to challenge the status quo
- Effective relations with stakeholders proactively
- Excellent attention to detail and personally well organised and Calm under pressure
- Strong analysis review and reporting skills
- Good negotiation and influencing skills
- Keen to continue learning and developing their skillset having a growth mindset
