Role:We are seeking a Tier 1 Support Engineer to monitor support and provide advanced troubleshooting for a large and complex data network infrastructure. Utilizing network monitoring and management tools you will work closely with business area teams network engineering and management to ensure the smooth operation of the network. During major incidents you will represent the team and coordinate efforts to resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the companys customers around the world
- Be a focal point for the customers needs and become a trusted advisor with customers by deeply understanding their business and aligning their needs with the company solutions.
- Own and manage customer issues and see problems through resolution.
We are happy to hear from you if you have:
- 1 years of experience in a similar support role with a focus on network infrastructure.
- Preferably from network product companies (first priority) but also open to support engineers with experience in the telecommunications industry or IT service and consulting as long as they have strong networking experience.
- Familiarity with VPNs IPSEC security protocols and network standards.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP Firewalls proxy servers and networking in general.
- CCNA Certification or equivalent knowledge level is a must.
- Proficiency in analyzing Wireshark PCAPs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
