Job Description

Key responsibilities

Managing and leading the Inventory and Goods In team whilst being responsible for all inventory functions and processes within.

The position requires a strong partnership with the procurement team to ensure the flow of stock is planned in line with project timescales and requires strong planning skills around the intake and locating of stock within the Warehouse.

The role is responsible for ensuring all stock is accurate and available to the fulfilment functions to ensure the sales volume can be fulfilled in line with project timescales and the business KPIs.

The stock Manager is responsible to complete the annual stock audit.

Key deliverables

  • Receiving and processing of all inbound purchase orders
  • Planning of all inbound activity and connected storage solutions
  • Performing physical inventory counts periodically to ensure the data records match the actual inventory levels (Inclusive of the annual audit)
  • Collecting and analysing historical data using statistical tools to forecast demand for various products and projects
  • Coordination with sales logistics and production to streamline the inventory management process
  • Optimising the warehouse layout and storage solutions whilst ensuring all are in line with sales demands

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record within stock management and supply chains understanding inventory controls and management systems and ERP.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment.
  • Possess the ability to work productively efficiently & effectively with the initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure maintaining the attention to detail and quality as required.
  • To be able to plan and lead a small team all with the discipline around the operations processes.
  • Work experience atManagement Level
  • Industry experience inWarehouse & Logistics
