Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor who is friendly motivated hard working reliable with experience in monitoring performance and delegating tasks.
You will supervise a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives around the Bristol area ensuring all services are delivered to a high standard on a key Social Housing contract.
You will be responsible for supervising the delivery of leaf collection weeding pruning edging and other seasonal activities in addition to ensuring your teams effectively maintain hedges planting and grass cutting.
Youll be working 40 hours a week 7:30am 3:30pm OR 8am 4pm Monday to Friday.
Core Responsibilities
- To supervise a number of grounds maintenance operators to achieve the highest level of maintenance service to the client
- Work closely with the Contracts Manager
- To effectively carry out site inspections using our in house system
- Ensure works are delivered to the required standards and in accordance with the set specification
- To represent the business and meet client representatives on sites
What are we looking for
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Can demonstrate understanding and experience in planning maintenance works over a large number of sites
- Able to lead motivate and manage teams effectively and carry out quotes.
- Be prepared to work hands on as and when necessary
- Seeks out and takes opportunities to learn new skills as part of personal professional development
- Flexibility over working hours
- Leads by example in all role activities
