Reporting
The Global Communications Intern will report directly to the Global Marketing and Communications Senior Manager of Accors ultraluxury division Orient Express.

Role and responsibilities for Orient Express
Press Internal and External Relations
- Support in creation of press releases and press kits from storytelling ideation coordinating with partners to format into press kit formatting into press release and development of additional supporting creative assets
- Project management planning: ability to create excel and powerpoint documents in order to track a global timeline for various product and brand communications initiatives
- Coordination with agency partners on global communication initiatives media plans strategic announcements and other media topics
- Assist in support of building webpages on the brand website including press materials and other online editorial
- Create reports by analyzing KPIs from internal monitoring tool(s)
- Coordinate with internal teams and creative agency for newsletter production based on relevant subjects
- Coordination of internal communications initiatives
Social Media & Brand Content Management
- Conduct benchmarks to support project development
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for campaign development
- Track expenses and support in maintaining accurate financial records on a shared Excel file
- Work closely with the creative agency to develop posts for various channels
- Validate visuals text and grids on a regular basis across all social media platforms
- Coordinate with the Community Management agency to ensure post scheduling and maintenance of social media moderation
- Oversee the implementation of new reporting tools such as Sprinklr
- Attend meetings and collaborate with internal teams (Accor and ALL) for collaborative posts
Event Management
- Assist in planning and coordinating events including support in event conception event coordination and onsite assistance
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for successful event execution
- Manage event budgets logistics and postevent visits
Qualifications :
Profile
- A first experience in social media management and/or press relations required
- Highly organized and extremely detailoriented
- Comfortable in project management particularly in social media and communications
- Proactive responsive and solutionoriented
- Understanding of analyzing KPIs strong proofreading and coordination skills
- Motivated positive and enthusiastic
- Bilingual in English and French
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Google Drive tools and understanding of Adobe suite
- Have a strong understanding and knowledge of social media platforms
- Demonstrate the ability to make decisions and work autonomously
- Capability of building visually compelling PowerPoint presentations
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of luxury and the luxury hospitality industry mandatory
Start Date
End of February / beginning of March for 6 months. Must be eligible for a French convention de stage and Paris based.
