Job description

A Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through a combination of development and testing skills. Design and implement automated test frameworks create and execute test cases and collaborate closely with development teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle and also participate in code reviews and communicate technical issues effectively for web and mobile. Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test cases based on requirements and design documents Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications Conduct functional testing to ensure that the software meets the specified requirements Perform performance testing to evaluate the softwares responsiveness stability and scalability under various conditions Identify document and track software defects and work closely with developers to resolve them Ensure that mobile applications function correctly across different devices operating systems and screen sizes Conduct usability testing to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience on web and mobile. Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the application is secure against potential threats Verify that the application works correctly on a wide range of devices including different brands models and OS versions Ensure that the mobile application meets the guidelines and requirements for app stores (e.g. Google Play Apple App Store) Work closely with development teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle ensuring continuous integration and delivery Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards Communicate technical concepts and issues effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders Proficient in using Postman for API testing including creating and managing collections writing tests and automating requests. Experience in integrating Postman tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or GitHub Actions to ensure continuous testing and deployment. Ability to develop custom tools and scripts to enhance testing processes and improve efficiency. Proficiency in Java/Python and/or C for writing test scripts developing tools and automating tasks Technical skills: AWS Cloud ( SNS SQS Code build Dynamo) Automation Testing using Cypress Database/SQL API Testing GIT Jira Performance Testing using JMeter or any tool. Cypress is optional

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• 6 Years of automation testing experience
• 2 years of mobile testing
• Extensive experience in testing web applications
