Job Description
At GYG its all about the Food! The Food Safety & Vendor Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality across all Guzman y Gomez Restaurants in Victoria. Working collaboratively with Culinary Operations Solutions Customer Service and Operations departments. Continuous improvement to reduce risk simplify procedures and ensure 100% operational execution and brand protection via timely management of critical complaints. Also assisting in vendor assurance programs to guarantee the delivery of premium ingredients.
The role:
- Food Safety Management
- Restaurant Visits & Coaching ensuring compliance and consistency of food
- Ensure the delivery of highquality ingredients and identify areas for improvement
- Proactively address challenges and drive innovation within the food safety program
Youll enjoy this role if you have:
- Degree in Food Science & Technology or a closely related field is required
- Strong experience in QSR restaurant operations hospitality or food & beverage highly desirable
- Excellent coaching interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with food safety management systems
- Passionate about food safety and quality
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to travel within Victoria and occasionally interstate
