Job Description

Heres what youll do:
- Shared Vision: Support a vision of excellence for all students with an urgency to maximize every opportunity necessary to achieve ambitious student outcomes
- Substitute Teaching: Lead the classroom for both daytoday and longterm assignments. Follow lesson plans implement direct instruction and behavior management strategies
- Teaching and Learning: Push into classrooms to support student tutoring enrichment and small group differentiation in literacy and/or mathematics
- Support Classroom Data Tracking: Maintain blended learning data trackers for students to ensure all students are making adequate progress
- Campus Safety: Support campus supervision before during and after school dismissal. Follow all school policies and guidelines regarding safe school practices.
Qualifications :
- Meet minimum requirements for a valid California Emergency 30Day Substitute Teaching Permit
- Previous substitute teaching instructional aide or other relevant experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish speaker a plus
- Committed to our organizations mission and educational philosophy
- Organized and selfmanaged able to handle many responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills oral and written
- Able to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Dependable and excellent at followthrough
- Computer knowledge and skills; familiar with Microsoft Office suite
