Job Description
- You will manage all posttrade related processes with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee flawless operations of Scalables client and market making business
- You will supervise daily internal account reconciliation trade booking and aggregation processes liquidity requirements and settlement activities with counterparties to comply with settlement discipline
- You will investigate mismatches identify optimization potential develop scalable processes and manage the execution of timesensitive tasks to achieve operational excellence
- You will supervise team members below your level to ensure smooth processing of transactions with exchanges trading counterparties custodian banks and central securities depositories
- You will coordinate and be responsible for communication with our external partners as well as internal development teams to ensure smooth settlement processes and drive improvements
Qualifications :
- You successfully completed a banking apprenticeship or a Bachelors degree in finance accounting or equivalent
- You gained multiple years of experience in securities services brokerage or asset management; prior involvement in a banks middle or back office is a plus
- You have comprehensive knowledge about securities and banking processes such as onexchange trading and settlement; knowledge in corporate actions and securities transfers is a plus
- You have an indepth understanding of technical and legal requirements market standards as well as practices for processing transactions via international clearing and settlement channels and possess expertise with German domestic settlement systems and processes of Clearstream Banking Xontro Xitaro etc.
- You are able to evaluate results make factbased decisions and update relevant stakeholders in a timesensitive environment while managing competing priorities
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
